And it began to spread in my family too.
They kept telling me it's a great time get the flu shot
"But that still contains the flu in it" I thought.
Even the people who received the shot still got sick
How do I know this would save me and work like a magic trick?
I don't have time to take sick days
Especially with midterm exams on their way.
I needed to find other ways to protect myself
This problem was not going to solve by itself.
Started to wear layers of warm clothes
To keep me toasty in the weather of snows.
Got some home remedies from my mum
These protected me from any flu that wanted to come.
Knock on wood, I have been successful so far
And I hope to keep things the way they are.

ReplyDeleteWe always talk about getting the flu in Spanish class, and if it's worth it to get the shot or not. I got the shot and I'm still okay, but we both know Ms. Lyons got struck once again. Hopefully we can both keep away from the flu!
